To ensure participants retain competence PTW as Supervisors or PTW Signatories by providing refresher training in all aspects of the BSP Permit to Work System, including the operation of the system in line with recent revisions for the PTW HSE Standard (Module 3).
COURSE OUTCOMES
On completion of the course, participants will be able to:
· Identify energy sources as hazards
· Define the roles of key schedules in the system
· Understand the use of a permit as a safe system of work
· Define other activities are corded by different types of permit
· Identify Category One and Category Two Hot Work activities
· Identify potential flaws in PTW systems through non compliance
· Describe hazard acts and conditions
· Provide examples conflicting activities with Hot Work
· Recognize and apply correctly different types of permits and certificates
· Define the Golden Rules of isolation
