The purpose of this course is to prepare pilots and aircrew for travel by Fixed Wing Aircraft and to successfully escape from a variety of emergency situations if an Aircraft ditches into water using Emergency Breathing System (EBS) including extraction of patient/ crew member underwater. Participants will be trained and educated on the procedures of aircraft travel, the different types of emergencies and the most likely ditching and emergency landing scenarios as well as a practical lesson in the evacuation process which includes lifejacket usage, escape routes and exits as well as the operation of onboard emergency equipment.
