- The additional risks associated with operating emergency vehicles.
- Importance of arriving safely.
- When to use operational conditions.
- Reasonable care.
- Fitness to drive and factors that can affect this.
- Vehicle preparation and vehicle safety.
- Pre-drive vehicle inspections.
- Seating position and cabin safety.
- Tyre safety and inflation Speed and momentum.
- Braking systems.
- Safety cushions.
- Employing a “system of car control” to prevent loss of control.
- Safe overtaking.
