Class 9 (Restricted) Training

AIMS            

To provide a knowledge of the roles and responsibilities as a Boat Operator

 

OBJECTIVES

The main objective in this course is to ensure that the operator have the necessary skills and knowledge to maneuver and use the boat and the equipment correctly. The persons involved have thorough knowledge of the boats qualities, and have had the training in maneuvering the boat and to be at high alert if the accident should occur as per below:

 

  1. Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea
  2. Sea accident
  3. Emergency Signals
  4. Merchant Shipping Regulations
  5. Safety Tools
  6. International Flag Signal Code
  7. Basic Introduction to Outboard Motor Engines
  8. Motor Engine

 

Remark:

Class 9 (Restricted) License will be issued after passing the trainings and obtain valid Physical Fitness Medical and Lantern / Eye Test.


Certificate Validity:

Lifetime (Annual medical test after holder reaching 60 years old)
