Provides the opportunity for assessment of existing drivers of tipper truck vehicles and focuses on loading and un-loading techniques. Approximately 50% of the course is spent in vehicles given extensive active and passive learning opportunities for all participants.

Technical Test Theory Element
How to drive site dumpers of various capacities and types
How to drive safely and efficiently under differing site conditions including gradients
How to tow and reverse small trailers Positioning the dumper correctly for discharging into and loading from excavations

METHODOLOGY This is a highly interactive classroom training program, whereby participants will gain and enhance their knowledge through understanding fundamentals of Driving. The practical session will boost participant’s confidence after knowing their fault and weaknesses being highlighted during in training. Participants will also be assessed on their knowledge before and after the newly acquired knowledge.
