This course aims to provide guidance, training and knowledge to seafaring and shore based personal who are required to understand about the handling of package dangerous, hazardous and harmful cargoes on board ship and at shore based facilities, including for Competent Authorities Personnel having responsibilities related to Dangerous Goods. This course is aimed at providing training at the Specific Function level.

The training syllabus in this course fulfils the specific functional knowledge as specified in the IMDG Code.
