This course is designed to train participants in becoming competent PTW Signatories by providing knowledge of the Permit to Work System, practical experience of the management of hazards as well as the operation of the system. Participants will be educated on the purpose of the PTW system, its Life Cycle, the Elements of a PTW System, Training and Appointment and the types of Permits in use. Participants will be able to provide Hazard Management and Restriction on Hot Work as well as be able to utilise the Permit Rack. As part of the learning elements, participants will be educated on how PTW Certificates & Supporting Documents (including the Hazards Check List) aids in worksite preparation
