The purpose of this course is to train participants on how to handle manual loads safely, and how to reduce the risk of manual handling injuries.

The course will provide participants with incident statistics in relation to manual handling injuries as well as education on company HSE Management System and HSE Policy.

Elements covered in this course includes, but is not limited to; basic lifting techniques, manual handling techniques, basic chemical handling, Risk Assessment Checklist, assessment of risk form for manual handling, mechanical assistance and others.
