AIMS & COURSE ELEMENTS:
This competency-based course is designed in accordance to NFPA 472 standard. HAZMAT Operation Level are individual in Defensive mode operation during any Hazardous Materials incident who will have the skills and knowledge to control, to mitigate, to assess, to get information, to do zoning and to prepare necessary equipment and implement decontamination procedures.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to:
• Perform the basic duties of HAZMAT operation responder.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of HAZMAT subjects • Demonstrate basic understanding controlling HAZMAT incident.
• Understand the concepts, principles and practical aspects of HAZMAT response.

This course specifically designed for those aspiring to be a fire-fighter and personnel who newly joined the fire services, plant operator, First Intervention Team, Jetty Terminal Operator, municipal fire brigades and industrial / oil and gas fire-fighting services.
