All gas tests required within the BMC PTW System to detect flammable gas, oxygen levels and/or toxic gas MUST be executed by a competent person. PIPC’s, AA’s and/or WSS’s are expected to become Authorized Gas Tester and MUST attend BMC PTW-5 and demonstrate their competence in testing for methanol, flammable gas, oxygen levels and/or toxic gas atmosphere.
