This course MUST be attended for all those wanting to attain the role of WSS within the BMC PTW System. Any WSS MUST have attended IMS-5 or IMIST Training.

To ensure a safe place of work BMC PTW System Front Line Worksite Supervisor (FLWSS) are expected to be competent in Supervisory Skills they need to employ at the worksite to ensure a safe place of work. This include but are not limited to:

• Identify Hazards and Risk Controls at all times

• Conduct Risk Assessment

• Tool Box Talk content and delivery

• Intervention with Unsafe Acts

• Identification of Unsafe Conditions

• Leadership

• Motivation

These skills are delivered and assessed enabling FLWSS to proceed to BMC PTW-2A

Holders of certificate and/or Authority Cards and/or having a certification for an equivalent course (IMS-5/IMIST) may proceed directly to BMC PTW-3A.
