·      Elements of fire.

·      Triangles of fire.

·      Methods of extinction.

·      Classification of fire.

·      Spread of fire.

·      Type of extinguisher, colour codes & fire symbol.

·      Use of extinguisher.

·      Emergency procedure.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

On completion of this course delegates; 

·      To have a knowledge, skills and competent to able to take appropriate technique how to use Portable Fire Fighting Equipment.

·      To identify and prevent Fire individual action(s) in the event from happening.

·      To act accordingly and take precautionary actions on emergency or fire at the worksite.

To successfully complete this training delegates must able to demonstrate: 

·      Selection of correct fire extinguishers to specific type of fire.

·      How to approach and tackle the fire during event of fire.
