COURSE CODE: IMS-4
This course aims to ensure participants understand and apply HSE Management Systems within the work environment under their control.
Participants will be trained in order to recognise, understand and self-demonstrate their company's overall approach to the management of the HSE Policy and Strategic Objectives within their area of control, which includes management of organisational infrastructure, information cascading and feedback on HSE issues as well as documentation and control procedures.
Participants will also be expected to be able to actively promote the use of the Hazard Effective Management Plan (HEMP) to manage and mitigate risks in the planning and implementation of work processes and encourage the application of sound methods for the planning of operations. Management of change control and the development of emergency response measures are also discussed. Participants will be able to ensure that effective systems can be put in place to ensure quality management of Health and Safety in the workplace.
